About Us

The Department of Health Care Services, which is part of Iğdır University School of Health Services, was established in 2009 and started its education and training activities in 2011. The department provides education to its students with various programs in order to train qualified manpower in the health sector.

There are 5 different programs in total within the Department of Health Care Services, and these programs include theoretical and practical training aimed at training professionals specialized in the field of health care services. Thanks to these programs, students are equipped with the knowledge and skills required by modern health services and receive training at a level that will enable them to undertake important roles in the health sector.

Within the scope of the initiatives of Iğdır University Rectorate to bring new programs to the School of Health Services Vocational School, the decision to open the Podology Program was taken at the Higher Education Executive Board meeting held on January 30, 2019. This decision was made in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547 and aims to increase the university's education capacity in the field of health.

The Department of Health Care Services aims to train its students as future health professionals by closely following the changes and developments in the health sector. The department aims to provide high quality education to its students by combining theoretical knowledge with practical training.
